My husband has TERRIBLE lower back pain and has had it for about a month now. It's getting worse, he doesn't have health insurance, we tried acupuncture, but nothing's helping. At this point, he just needs to manage the pain so he can work. Can anyone help?
I have tried calling and am getting tired of hearing that I cannot be seen due to lack of insurance.
I have been going to this clinic for awhile for back pain. I have just recently had back surgery. Now the pain is not as bad so I am taking less of these meds. They said that the Suboxone was for Chronic pain not for addictions to Herion, etc.. They gave me Phenobarbital to get off Valium!
Anyways I tried to get off and I can't. But this clinic doesn't take all of my insurance so I owe them lots of money to see them again! Is there another pain clinic or somewhere else I could go? They just gave me my last refills! I live in Belleville, MI!
Hi Guys
Hi Guys
I am new in USA. my wife has Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and is taking medication prescribed when we were in our home country.
1. my first question is How much is the cost of RA treatment in USA? i mean an estimated monthly cost..
2. and what specific coverages i will have to look for in her case if i go for buying an insurance (considering that RA is a chronic disease and requires taking medicines continuously for several years)
kindly help us out !
I had a total knee replacement 2 months ago. I'm still home recovering. My surgeon is greatly decreasing my pain meds and I'd like to find a pain management doctor that understands. I have Regence BCBS insurance. Thank you,
I have a chronic back ailment and have lost my insurance after 6 years of treatment , mostly with medicine and physical therapy. I moved home to Louisiana after losing my inurance and going thru a divorce, finding myself with less money, alot of pain ,no help with the bills and doctors telling me to go to a pain clinic . The ones i have talked to so far are either too expensive (600 monthly) or insurance only.
Say you see a pain management doctor (in Alabama) and you're legit, not a junkie, and he writes you a Rx for XYZ. Then you go see an urologist and he writes you the same Rx for your kidney stones that your pain management doctor writes. Minus all the insurance stuff, is there an actual way for the pain management doctor to see that your urologist wrote you that same Rx? I don't want to get in trouble here.
I have in the past used pain management clinics that are outrageously expensive for my 3 various injuries and I just discovered Kelsey Seybold (who takes my insurance) has a Pain Management dept. I would like to know if they use opioids as they are the only thing that work for me.
I am 35 yrs old and 14 yrs ago i dropped 3,000 lbs of steel on my left foot. It crushed the bones in the top of my foot and squished the nerves in my foot also. I guess i'm getting older cause after getting over my injury it didn't bother me but for the past 3 years i have had tremendous pain in that foot. I have a great family doctor who gives me an injection once a month and a prescription for lorcet 7.5....which help when i'm in pain. The only problem is he doesn't give me enough to get through the month. I have discussed this with him and he said he didn't feel comfortable in changing to a higher dose or increasing the amount. I have a new insurance plan and i don't need a referral to go see another doctor. I buy my pain med. at a pharmacy without using my insurance so nobody knows or there is no record of me getting these. What doctor should i see to get something else for pain......a pain management doctor or another family physician. i'm looking for help not just pills.
